Meeting Alumni at London

We look more professional in business suits, right?


Meeting alumni from RBS, Macquarie Bank, Cisco, Morgan Stanley, Lehman Brothers, Citigroup, etc at Canary Wharf Clifford Chance Office. Just like picniking with classmates. I like Canary Wharf because it looks very similar to Taikoo Place in HK, feel like home! I think I'm a bit workaholic, too bad!

團年飯

農曆新年是一個好時机讓華人聚首一堂。雖然我們看來相似,其實是來自五湖四海的,包括Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, Holland and USA. 還有三位非華人同学呢!

同一時間是Women OBN Pyjama Bash,點解無人穿睡衣呢? 兩幅照片加起來差不多是全班的女生了。

Lugguage back

等咗差不多一個月的行李終於返到我身邊,真是很意外,最好就是確實了這世上還有好人,不是小偷做的好事。加上多買的補給品,突然多了很多物資.........

Dean List出爐了,只有＋ニ位同学,六男六女,只有成績最好的5%,當然冇我份。女生讀書考試常比男生優勝, 我班只有太約30%是女生,所以按比例女生成績比較好, 是個universal phenomenon.

学校搞錯了Finance 那科的分數,要reissue成績單給大半班同學,真是過份,不夠professional. 好難想像這些事情可以發生,如果在香港那負責人要引咎遲職了。

Hell-ary term

人地話Hilary term = Hellary tem因為好多功課,又有EP (Enterpreneur Project),又要揾。剛過去的星期有四份工課,我的study group members超有效率,不須多開會,自動自覺分工合作,email來住便可以了。不過我覺得自己做事比較慢,常常想做好啲,太執著,所以也搞到2am & 4am. 如果唔改善返到HK做嘢也是死路一條。

這個周未除了做Global Strategy individual assignment外,星期五晚返St. Aldales 華人团契, 一月生日的我居然又有份切蛋糕,真surprise! 星期六晚去Oxford Brooks (Oxford 有兩間U,另一間就是Oxford Brooks)打籃球,MBAT要求最少要有一個女子在塲,所以我要跟男仔打波,冇咩机會碰個波,幸好都入了一球,唔錯呀!自從去完OCC weekend away後星期日返教會識多咗人,完咗崇拜要吹好耐水才走,希望下個星期四可以參加佢地的fusion group, 突然間變咗教會的active participant.

我今日打咗成日電話去National Express都揾唔人,明天繼續追我件失蹤行李。

好擔心我的「天使」快要離間住了15年的Totonto返HK, 以後無人在夜蘭人靜的時候同我chit chat, 點算? 同佢吹水超開心, 今日比先佢嚇到我腳軟..........

Parcel from Hong Kong

After nearly one month arrangement, Inez finally sent me a parcel, successfully. I love this parcel because my spectacles, make-up tools, some clothes, red pocket money, BDay gifts are inside, there are also many lovely Year of Rat stamps. I found it inconvenient since losing my luggage when taking a National Express coach on 9 Jan, some of my daily necessities disappeared.


Other than my personal stuff, Inez also helped me to source Chinese New Year ornament for decoration on next Friday Lunar New Year Party at SBS. It is much cheaper to buy such things in HK than in UK, so, I volunteer to do a favour for it.


Such a conincident that I got a letter from National Express on the same day saying that they might find my lost suitcase and asked me to call them on Monday. Is it dramatic?! If it is true, I will have too many stuffs now. Anyway, it is nice and life is so dramatic. Sometimes you will be disappointed, on the next day, you may have surprises! Thanks God for creating varieties and color in lives!
