Oxford Win the 2008 Boat Race

Oxford Blue Boat crossed the finish line with a time of 20.53, six lengths ahead of the Cambridge Blue Boat, which crossed the line in the time of 21.15. Normally this distance between boats would be seven lengths; however; because of the weather conditions the finish judge, Ben Kent, declared it as six lengths.

Race statistic
2001 24 Mar - Cambridge (17:44) 2 1/2 lengths
2002 30 Mar - Oxford (16:54) 2/3 lengths
