Shanghai Day 1

Two hour flight from HK to Shanghai Pudong Airport by CX followed by three hours waiting for the arrival of other teams at the airport. To fully utilise the time, I completed capital raising assigment in Burger King at Pudong Airport.

Dinner at CEIBS Finance Research Centre - We look very smart at business suits, right?!

Wadham Team is one of the finalists among 82 applicants. We are awesome! We don't expect there are so many applicants when we join the competition.

Competition question released after the dinner: How to spend 100 million RMB on an innovative and sustainable CSR project that reflects the company’s values and capitalizes on its core competencies. I like the topic but don't want them to release the question so early, that means we need to work for 48 hours immediately............

There are 9 finalists in which only 7 teams will present because 2 teams encounter visa application problem. We are the 4th team to present on Sunday morning.

Nice apartment hotel, I stick to this table for the remaining few days............

From HK to Shanghai

We have Mercedes Benz from home to HK Airport via Disney HK

Maze in Disney Hotel

Tarun is so happy because he is going to Bombay while Pawel and I need to work sleeplessly in Shanghai for InnovateChina 2008 competition organised by CEIBS.

Hong Kong Day 3

Hong Kong Day 2

Yum Cha in APM, so many dim sum as brunch.

Buy some electronic products in Broadway
Be the driver to Shek O Beach, the guys said I have good driving skills.... I agree!

Haven't been swimming in the beach for uncountable years, I use this rubber boat to reach the raft, my first time going there. The guys said it is amazing to have the beach with mountains together in such a small place. I like HK, I feel proud of if.

Bought some souvenir in the Peak.

Dinner with Marge and Leader at The Peak Lookout. Lucky Jenny reached the Peak before amber rainstorm signal is hosted. Bad that we cannot see HK night view from bird's eye view.

Last stop and must go place - Lan Kwai Fong

Back to Hong Kong

Before going to Shanghai for the CEIBS InnovateChina 2008 Challenge, Tarun, Pawel and me stopped in HK for a few days.

Arrived at HK International Airport after taking 12 hours flight. I can only sleep for 2-3 hours in the flight because someone has chosen the bad seats which are in front of the loo. You will have people lining beside you at any time.

Dinner with family in Sai Sha, yummy thai food.

Aveune of Star in Tsim Sha Tsui, awesome view in front of Victoria harbour. I have seen this night view for many years but it is my first time taking picture on it. Good to be a tourist again!

Going Home

Hi friends in Hong Kong

I am going to take BA back to Hong Kong for three days before heading Shanghai for InnovateChina 2008 competition. I feel very tired in these two weeks because of the assignments and obstacles in getting Chinese visa (my teamates). Apologise that I would not be able to visit all of you as the time is really rush and I need to finish 3 more assignments during the home / Shanghai trip.

Blog later!
